Experimental AI Projects
Vintage kits
Construction-set and drawing programs from the 1980s, studied on the original disks and rebuilt so you construct on a modern host and play on a Commander X16—or draw again without DOSBox.
Host construct · X16 play
Author on the PC. Run on the Small Machine.
Adventure Construction Set proved the product idea: one data-driven adventure, a small interpreter. These projects keep that split without dragging C64 quotas, 4-color tiles, or chained BASIC EXEs into the new runtime.
GluWinDraw
A .NET 10 WinForms port of GLUDRAW (GLU Systems, 1984)—the PC-BLUE
line-graphics editor. It opens a JSON document format, keeps the
thirty sample drawings, and still exports GW-BASIC plus PNG and SVG.
Classic .PIC is archive-only. The original chained
BASIC modules are not redistributed.
RPGFx16
A tile RPG construction kit on the host and a compiled player on
the Commander X16. Construct and compile on Windows/Linux; the X16
runs cooked maps, graphics, messages, and mechanics. A PySide6
editor can import a C64 ACS .d64 for playtest. The
earlier native-port sketch lives beside it; ACS disks and manuals
stay in a study tree.
ACS study
C64 Adventure Construction Set disks under VICE, plus ACSViewer for PC adventure files, GAGS/AGT on DOS, and an X16 walker for packed demos. The point is to learn the format and the play loop—not to ship EA’s binary.

Why It Belongs Here
These are ports and construction kits with a clear legal posture: original samples and help where they are part of the study set, new code and formats for the product path. They sit next to EndlessMaze as the same habit—honor the 1978/1984 artifact, then give it a host you can actually maintain.
