Alongside the Titles
Throughout the career—sometimes billed, sometimes pro bono—side consulting for nonprofits and small organizations that cannot staff a full engineering bench. Typical asks: a troublesome website, a new feature, or a realistic upgrade path. Clients have included churches, community theater, and groups that need assistance and resource tracking, scheduling, or document upload. The enterprise work is the same class of problem at a larger scale; the small-org work is keep-what-we-have, cost-conscious, and comfortable in make-do environments.
